PEMRA to telecast public service messages on disasters, tragedies

imageISLAMABAD: Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Maj Gen Asghar Nawaz on Wednesday met with Chairman Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Absar Alam and discussed the measures for adopting to prevent from natural disasters.

The chairman PEMRA assured the NDMA for full support in educating public through TV channels in case of any disaster like situation to prevent the citizens.

On the occasion it was decided that public service messages will be telecast besides public awareness on natural disasters and in tragedies.
