imageLONDON: Diesel barge differential swaps in northwest Europe declined in the two weeks to Tuesday as supplies in the region were set to rise due to higher imports.

Gasoline crack swaps in northwest Europe fell in the two weeks to Monday as demand to export the motor fuel fell.

Weekly gasoline stocks held independently in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp hub have risen by nearly 10 percent as exports from the region slowed, the latest data from Dutch Consultancy PJK International showed.

US gasoline stocks also rose, gaining 536,000 barrels, compared with analysts' expectations a 144,000-barrel drop, according to the lastest EIA data.

But distillate stocks fell in northwest Europe and in the United States in recent weeks due to high refinery maintenance and lower distillates production.

But higher imports into the region from Asia, the Middle East, Russia and the United States were set to increase supplies in the region, traders said.

Brazil has joined a list of countries exporting diesel to Europe, reversing a traditional route and underscoring a weakening of the largest South American economy.

US distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil, fell 1.3 million barrels, versus expectations for a 83,000-barrel drop, according to the EIA.
