NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling fell on Tuesday to a new all-time low of 102.1 against the dollar, extending losses due to panic buying of the greenback against a backdrop of the euro zone debt crisis, traders said.
The central bank had stepped in on Monday to support the shilling but traders said the intervention did not give any respite to the battered local currency.
