Chinese company to set up a steel mill at Chiniot

imageISLAMABAD: Member National Assembly (MNA), Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said that Chinese company MCC would set up a steel mill of 3 million tons production capacity at Chiniot.

Addressing a press conference out side the Parliament here Friday, he said that 28 square kilometer iron and copper deposits have been discovered adding that these deposits could be spread around 2000 square kilometer.

He said the discovery of deposits would help generate jobs for the people besides strenthening the local industry. This would surely supplement the national economic development and prosperity, he added.
