FRANKFURT: Deutsche Boerse said the DAX index would be adjusted to reflect the replacement of its shares with a class of shares tendered in its merger with the New York Stock Exchange group.
It said on late Friday the change would be effective from July 20 and reflect a decision by the working committee for equity indexes published on June 6.
Deutsche Boerse made the announcement hours after it said that shareholders had approved the proposed merger with NYSE Euronext .
