Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: One ship arrived at Port to load/offload containers at Qict, on Friday.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 43% at the Port on Friday where a six ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican BEY-Powership, M.V MSC Didem, M.V Tessa, M.V Inlaco Brave, M.T SC Liaoning, M.T JI Xiang, are currently occupying berths to load/ offload, containers, cement, sand, palm oil.

Cargo handing operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 42168 tonnes comprising 18776 tonnes import, 23392 tonnes export and (1491) TEUs was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.T JI Xiang, M.T SC Liaoning, M.V MSC Didem sailed on Friday morning.

M.V MSC Kerry at Qict, M.T Bunga Aster at LCT, arrival on Saturday, as per arrival schedule.
