KARACHI: Three ships carrying g.cargo and chemical were berthed at Multi purpose Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal on Sunday.
Meanwhile three more ships carrying containers, cement and furnace oil are also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 65% at the port on Monday where total seven ships namely MSC Didem, MV Hay, Genco Pyrenees, inlaco Brave, Boreaqi, Bochem Chennal and MT. Success Marlina are currently occupying berths to load/offload, containers, rice, gen.cargo and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 30403 tonnes comprising 21268 tonnes imports and 9135 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 456 containers (TEUs) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
