KARACHI: Four ships arrived at the Port to load/ offload containers at QICT, cement at MW-II, project cargo at MW-IV, chemical at EVTL on November 16, 2013, Port sources said here on Sunday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 57% at the Port on Saturday where a total of seven ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican BEY- Powership, M.V CMB Coralie, M.V Alam Sayang, M.V Tian Wang Xing, M.V MSC Kerry, M.T Zao Galaxy, M.T SEA Ambition, M.V Lito, are currently occupying berths to load/ offload, containers, cement, project cargo, paim oil, chemical, sunflower seed.
Cargp handling oparations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume of 56238 tonnes comprising 25261 tonnes import, 30977 tonnes export and (2383) TUEs was handled at the Port during the last 24 hours.
M.T Zao Galaxy sailed on Saturday afternoon.
M.V Tian Wang Xing sailed on Sunday morning.
M.T Stolt Viking at EVTL arrived on November 17, 2013 as per arrival schedule.
