Rs 2,91,650 fine imposed on 272 shopkeepers on Thursday

imageKARACHI: Two hundred and seventy two (272) shopkeepers were fined of Rs. 2,91,650 on Thursday for overcharging people at different markets in the metropolis.

According to details made available by Commissioner Office, Karachi, teams headed by magistrates fined 45 milk sellers, 47 fruit vendors, 107 green grocers, nine meat sellers, 44 grocers, 15 chicken meat sellers and five flour mill owners for being indulged in profiteering and violating the officially approved price list.
