ISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Wednesday released 292,441 cusecs water for various rim stations with inflow of 347,748 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1507.68 feet, which was 129.68 feet higher than its dead level 1378 feet.
Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 187,600 cusecs while outflow was recorded as 160,000 cusecs.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1187.40 feet, which was 147.40 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 42,707 cusecs and 15,000 cusecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 216,601, 218,156 and 119,646 cusecs respectively.
Similarly, from the Kabul River a total of 61,600 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 55,841 cusecs released from the Chenab River at Marala.
