KARACHI: One ship arrived at the Port to load/ offload coal at IOCB on Friday, port sources said here Saturday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 29% at the Port on Friday where a total of four ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican BEY-Powership, M.V Caribean Sea, M.V Bulk Pangaea, M.T AL Salam-II are currently occupying berths to load/ offload containers, coal, diesel oil.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 57600 tonnes comprising 31865 tonnes import 25735 tonnes export, 1958 (TUEs) was handled during the last 24 hours.
M.T Al Salam-II sailed on Friday evening, M.V Caribean Sea sailed on Saturday morning.
M.V President Adam at QICT, M.T Princes Park at Evtl, M.T Arietis at FOTCO arrived on May 25, 2013.
