KARACHI: Pakistan's homegrown multinational Engro Corporation was recognised among the top and most preferred employers in the country.
A statement here on Wednesday said that the Engro Corporation is the only Pakistani private company that has made it to the top five.
It said that according to a survey conducted by Rozee.pk, in collaboration with a UK based Research Company YouGov, Engro Corporation was voted as a preferred employer bringing the company to the fourth place in the league of top five employers.
To ensure that Engro remains the most sought after employer among college graduates and experienced professionals, the company continues to implement its holistic strategy for employee and organisational development.
As part of the survey, the respondents were asked to cast their votes based on the organisation's brand image, potential for career growth, work environment, compensation, benefits and social responsibility.
The statement further pointed out that Engro Corporation Limited received a weighted share of 77 percent in Agriculture/ Fertilizer and Pesticide sector for its fertilizers business- Engro Fertilizers and was, thus, the most preferred employer in the category, securing the first position.
Similarly, the foods business of the Company- Engro Foods, received 34 percent weighted votes and secured the second position in the category of the most preferred employer in the FMCG sector.
