Afrasiyab ISLAMABAD: Senior ANP leader Afrasiyab Khattak has strongly condemned attack on police checkpost Wednesday in Peshawar.

Talking to Radio Pakistan on Thursday, he strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a police checkpost in Sango Mehra area in surroundings of Peshawar, in which two police officials were killed and five others injured.

He said anti-Pakistan forces are behind terrorist attacks. He hoped Pakistan army will soon clear tribal areas from terrorists and added that people of Pakistan have great hatred for the terrorists, who are killing innocent people.

Afrasiyab said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is taking many security measures to prevent terrorist attacks in the province particularly after the killing of Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad.
