KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, while taking notice of the death of children caused by the outbreak of measles in different areas of Sindh, has directed the health authorities to take effective steps to control the disease.
A statement here on Tuesday said that the Chief Minister Sindh has issued directions to Provincial Health Secretary and Director General Health Services to present the report about the deaths caused by the deadly disease and make comprehensive strategy to control the situation.
He asked the Health officials of the area concerned to visit the affected areas and people be provided immediate relief at their doorsteps.
He further directed the Secretary Health to monitor the situation and a committee be constituted to visit the affected areas to get first hand knowledge about the disease outbreak.
