ISLAMABAD: A four days Swat Snow Festival 2013 gets underway from 14 to 17 March in Malam Jabba, Swat.
The event includes skiing, gliding, snow trekking and tobogganing. A large number of people from all over the country are expected to attend the festival, Radio Pakistan reported.
Special coaching classes of skiing and gliding have also been arranged for school and university students.
Located nearly 40 kilometers from Saidu Sharif, Malam Jabba is a popular ski resort in winters and an ideal spot for a family picnic during the summer season due to its lush-green pastures and thick pine forests.
