ISLAMABAD: Leader of the House for Senate Muhammad Jehngir Bader on Tuesday said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto would be alive in the history forever due to her great sacrifice for restoration of democracy.
He told APP that she was a matchless and a leader of international stature like her father Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, hanged by a dictatorial regime in the late of seventies but never surrendered himself in front of a dictator for the establishment of democracy.
"Though 5 years have been passed to martyrdom of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto but she is still alive in the hearts of the people", he added.
While paying tribute to his legendary and visionary leader, Bader expressed that she was a catalyst for change and wanted to bring the country out of political, religious, economical, social turmoil but anti-state elements murdered her brutally on January 27, 2007 at Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi.
He emphasized that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) led government have been trying to complete the mission of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto under the unwavering leadership of the President Asif Ali Zardari.
