Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two Ships arrived at Port Qasim carrying furnace oil at FOTCO, MEG at MW-1 on Saturday.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 50% at the Port Qasim on Saturday where a total of seven Ships namely M.V Thrgau, M.V Ocean Star, M.T Stolt Stream, M.T IVY Global Aker, M.T Vermilion Energy, M.V Ana Dorothea are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, wheat, palm oil, fertilizer, phos, acid, furnace oil, MEG was handled at Port Qasim last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port Qasim where a cargo volume 57985 tonnes comprising 55840 tonnes import, 2145 tonnes export was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.T Global Aker sailed on Saturday morning.
