KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers and furnace oil were allotted berths on Qasim International Containers Terminal and FOTCO Terminal on Wednesday.
Meanwhile two more ships scheduled to load/offload containers are also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 65 percent at the Port on Thursday where total number of seven ships namely MV.Shirley, CGM Belini, Anoushka, Ahmed Arab, BBC Emsland, K.Coral and MV. Eurosea are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, wheat, cement, project cargo, urea and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 55554 tonnes comprising 45010 tonnes imports and 10544 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 998 Containers (Boxes) were handle at the Port during last 24 hours.
