KARACHI: Four ships carrying containers and chemical were allotted berths on Qasim International Containers Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal on Tuesday.
Meanwhile three more ships scheduled to load/offload containers and chemical are also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 65% at the Port Qasim on Wednesday where total number of seven ships namely MV. Diera, CGM Ravel, Nedlloyd Hudson, MV. Fisher-D, MV Hawk, Asphalt Merchant and MV. Glory are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, bitumen and chemical respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 73,620 tonnes comprising 42,809 tonnes imports and 30,811 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 3,154 container (Boxes) were handle at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
