Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: One ships arrived at Port Qasim on Saturday 4th August, 2012 carrying containers at QICT.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 42% at the Port on Saturday where a total of six ships namely M.V Fisher-D, M.V Hawk, M.V BBC Arizona, M.V Lantau Arrow, M.T Stolt Zulu, M.T Gas Husky are currently occupying berths to load/ offload Cement, Containers, Palm Oil, Project Cargo, LPG was handled at Port last 24 hours.

Cargo Handling Operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a Cargo volume 22421 tonnes comprising 12750 tonnes import, 9671 tonnes Export, Total 878 (Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.T Gas Husky Sailed on Saturday afternoon and M.V BBC Arizona, M.T Stolt Zulu sailed on Sunday morning.
