LONDON: Europe's main stock markets opened narrowly mixed on Wednesday as oil prices retreated and Tokyo shares rose.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index dipped 0.06 percent to 5,971.24 points, Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 0.18 percent to 7,177.55 points and in Paris the CAC 40 was up fractionally at 4,016.45 points.
