KARACHI: Four ships arrived at Port Qasim on Friday carrying containers at QICT, diesel oil at FOTCO.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 50% at the Port Qasim on Friday where a total of Eight ships namely M.V Safmarine Ngami, M.V Singapore Trader, M.V Tampa Bay, M.V Leopard-B, M.V BBC Quebec, M.T BW Orinoco, M.T Al Soor-II are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, palm oil, project cargo, cement, diesel oil was handled at Port Qasim last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operation were carried out smoothly at the Port Qasim where a cargo volume 79,559 tonnes comprising 54,528 tonnes import, 25,031 tonnes export and 3,713 (Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.T SC Dalian, M.T BW Orinoco sailed on Friday afternoon and M.V Tampa Bay sailed on Saturday morning.
