Pakistan Rupee again displayed mixed trend on Tuesday. It lost value against USD in interbank market while gaining value for selling in open market. However, it lost value for buying in open market against USD, Euro, AED and SR.
INTER-BANK MARKET RATES: RATES: In the interbank market, Pakistan Rupee lost 35 paisas for buying and 20 paisas for selling against USD over yesterday's rates closing at 160.35 and 160.70 respectively.
OPEN MARKET RATES: In the open market, against USD, PKR went down by 30 paisas buying while gaining 20 paisas for selling with respect to yesterday's rates closing at 160.30 and 160.80 respectively.
Against Euro, PKR weakened by one rupee for buying and by 1.50 rupees for selling closing at 172.50 and 174.50 respectively.
Against UAE Dirham, PKR weakened by 5 paisas for buying but strengthened by 5 paisas for selling closing at 42.85 and 43.25 respectively.
Against Saudi Riyal, PKR weakened by 10paisas for both buying and selling closing at 41.80 and 42.20 for buying and selling respectively.

RUPEE IN LAHORE: The Pak rupee lost its worth in relation to the greenback in the local currency markets on Tuesday.
According to currency dealers, the greenback opened at Rs 159.00 and Rs 161.90 on buying and selling sides, respectively, as against Rs 158.50 and Rs 161.00 on Monday. At the close, the dollar was traded at Rs 158.55 and Rs 161.90 on buying and selling counters, respectively, the dealers added.
On the other hand, the British Pound was traded at Rs 194.50 and Rs 198.40 on buying and selling sides, respectively, the dealers added.
RUPEE IN ISLAMABAD AND RAWALPINDI: The dollar gained 50 paisas against the rupee at the open currency markets of Islamabad and Rawalpindi here on Tuesday.
The dollar opened at Rs161.50(buying) and Rs 161.60(selling) against last rate of Rs161(buying) and Rs 161.10(selling).
It closed at Rs161.50(buying) and Rs 161.60(selling).
The buying and selling rates of one tola of gold were Rs. 104,300(selling) and Rs. 104,100 (buying) in the local Sarafa(gold) markets of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
