KARACHI: Three ships arrived at Port Qasim on Saturday, carrying containers at QICT, palm oil at LCT and furnace oil at FOTCO.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 50% at the Port Qasim on Saturday where a total seven ships namely M.V MSC Seirral-II, M.V Safmarine Ngami, M.V Saigon Express, M.T Karachi, M.T Chem Road Journey, M.T Harsandi, M.V Luilang Wisdom are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, wheat, furnace oil, chemical, meg was handled at Port Qasim last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port Qasim where a cargo volume 83,155 tonnes comprising 70,252 import, 12,903 tonnes export and 1,478 (Tues) was handled at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
M.T Harsanadi, M.V Safmarine Ngami, MV Sieera-II sailed on Saturday afternoon and M.V Saigon Express sailed on Sunday.
M.V Maersk Wisconsin arrive on 20th May, 2012.
