KARACHI: Three ships arrived at the Port on Friday. The ships brought diesel oil to FOTCO, canola seed and chemical at EVTL.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 42 percent at the Port on Friday where a total of five ships namely M.V CMA CGM Mozart, M.T Omera Queen, M.T AL Soor II, M.T Harsanadi, M.V Rapallo are currently occupying berths to load/ offload containers, diesel oil, canola seed, furnace oil and chemical for the last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 105981 tonnes, comprising 89224 tonnes imports and 16757 exports, 1896 (TUES) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.T Omera Queen sailed on Friday evening and M.V CMA CGM MOZART sailed on Saturday morning.
M.V Lotus at QICT and M.T Lahore at FOTCO are expected to take berth on Saturday.
