RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 18,328.03 points with a positive change of 215.34 and volume of 66,850,400 shares. High and Low were 18,357.12 and 18,042.33 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 27 were up, 2 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 91,162,130 shares. Total companies traded were 307 of which 206 were positive, 77 were negative and 24 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 15,114,000 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 14,004,650 shares.
