Newly-engaged Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir to star in another romantic drama

The newly engaged couple on the block, Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir, is all set to bring their romance onscreen once again in Farhat Ishtiaq’s next.

Actors Sajal and Ahad are officially a couple now, as the duo-announced their engagement during the Eid holidays. The duo is now all set to reunite onscreen for Farhat Ishtiaq's yet to-be-titled upcoming drama.

The couple rose to fame with their unforgettable chemistry in ‘Yakeen Ka Safar’, which was also written by Farhat. Farhat is a popular Urdu fiction writer, who has given the drama industry a significant number of hit romantic serials including Humsafar, Diyar-e-dil, Bin Roye, Udaari, and many others.

Ahsan Talish, who also directed popular drama ‘Suno Chanda’, will helm the project. Speaking to a local media, he said, "Sajal and Ahad will be seen in very contrasting roles from what they've done before".

He further added, “It's a beautifully written story by Farhat Ishtiaq. It's being produced by MD Productions and Ahad, Sajal and Adnan [Siddiqui] are the main characters. It's a romantic thriller which we shot up in Islamabad and Shogran and will tentatively come out end of July, beginning August on Hum TV”.
