Interior ministry announces four-day holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr

The government announced on Tuesday a four-day public holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul Fitr.

A notification was issued by the Ministry of Interior Affairs. The government has announced Eid-ul-Fitr holidays from June 4 till June 7, local media reported.

On May 26, Minister for Science and Technology launched the country’s first moonsighting website and Hijri Calendar. The minister announced that based on the lunar observations, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on June 5.
