TAIPEI: Taiwan auctioned T$40 billion ($1.35 billion) in 20-year government bonds at a yield of 1.708 percent, the central bank said on Tuesday, slightly higher than forecasts in a Reuters poll for a yield of between 1.68 percent and 1.70 percent.
