Rs127mn spent on five feeders rehabilitation, bifurcation

MULTAN: Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has spent over Rs 127.4 million for rehabilitation, bifurcation and upgradation of five HT feeders to ensure electricity supply with better voltage sans tripping.

According to additional chief engineer (construction) Emannuel Sardar, work on HT feeders was in progress and five HT feeders projects were completed till Mar 2019.

A sum of Rs 15.5 million was spent on 11KV Gulberg feeder in Multan circle, Rs 42 million on 11 KV Bahar feeder in Muzaffargarh, Rs 13.56 million on 11KV Hota feeder in Sahiwal, Rs 17.8 million on 11 KV Ghazi feeder in RahimyarKhan and Rs 38.4 million on Chak 28/10-R 11KV feeder in Khanewal.
