SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were up 0.48 percent in morning trade Thursday, after gains in US stocks overnight on positive economic data and optimism over Greece's debt swap deal, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, added 11.44 points at 2,406.24.
