KARACHI: Shipping activity remained active at the Port during last 24 hours, where three ships carrying containers, canola seed and diesel oil were allotted berth at Qasim International Containers Terminal, FAP and FOTCO Terminals respectively on Wednesday, February, 29.
Meanwhile four more ship scheduled to load/offload containers and chemicals also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 25 percent at the Port on Thursday where total number of three ships namely CGM Bellini, MV. Maganari and MV. Estia are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, canola seed and diesel oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 49,804 tonnes, comprising 68,464 tonnes imports and 11,340 tonnes exports was handle, inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1290 containers (Boxes) at the Port during last 24 hours.
CGM Bellini sailed out to sea on Thursday morning.
