Ranveer talks about collaborating with Ranbir in ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ sequel

One of the greatest comedy films of Bollywood ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ might get its sequel, as filmmaker Rohit Shetty recently revealed that he wants to cast Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in its reboot.

Both the actors have never been seen together in a movie and previously have only shared the screen in the popular chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’. Both Ranveer and Rabir are considered top actors of B-Town and are often pitted against each other.

In an interview to Mid-Day, Ranveer spoke about Ranbir being one of his favorite actors and that he is looking forward to work with him in some project. When asked about his thoughts on the remake of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, Ranveer said, “I think it's a cult film and I think it's going to be difficult to live up to it. If you are planning to make the sequel of Andaz Apna Apna, you have got a big responsibility as it's one of those timeless comedies”.

'Andaz Apna Apna' is one of the Bollywood's cult classic starring Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon in the lead roles.

Referring to Rohit's wish of casting him and Ranbir if a sequel is really made, Ranveer said, “Yes, I would love to collaborate with Ranbir as he is one of my favourite actors. There have been several opportunities and I hope one of them in near future materializes. It will be a very enriching experience working with him,” he added.

Ranveer is currently basking in the success of his latest release ‘Simmba’, while Ranbir Kapoor is busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’.
