Chicago Board of Trade corn futures declined on Wednesday, with the nearby July contract hitting a one-month low on better-than-expected US crop condition ratings and technical selling including fund-driven long liquidation, traders said. CBOT July corn settled down 6-1/2 cents at $3.93-1/2 per bushel after dipping to $3.90-3/4, its lowest since April 25. New-crop December ended down 5-3/4 cents at $4.13-1/4.
Follow-through selling noted after Tuesday's weak technical close.
