PPP legislators have no respect for women: Nusrat

Nusrat Sehar Abbasi, an MPA from PML-F, has said that PPP's legislators have no respect for women. "I showed them shoes because this is what they deserve," she said on Saturday, adding that they don't know how to respect their own mothers and sisters. She said that in the past also, they had talked about sending women to chambers.
She made this statement after an incident in which she got into a heated argument with Sindh Assembly deputy speaker Shehla Raza. Abbasi took off her shoes and held them high to protest during the post-budget session of the Sindh Assembly. Shehla Raza ordered the Sergeant-at-Arms to remove her from the assembly.
