The 10th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was observed in Bajaur Agency on Wednesday. In this connection, the workers of Pakistan people's party local chapter held a number of functions and events in different areas of the agency.
The main function of the 10th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto was held at the residence of PPP provincial vice president Syed Akhun Zada Chattan in Khar, which was attended by scores of party workers and students. PPP local chapter president Aourang Zeb, general secretary Haji Khan Bahadar and Mian Saidur Rehman, Shahabuddin Khan, and Muhammad Zeb Khan spoke at the functions.
The speakers were of the view that Benazir Bhutto had greatly and significantly contributed for strengthening of democracy and people's empowerment in the country. Quran Khawani was also held for the departed soul of Benazir Bhutto.
