The provincial executive council of JUI-F Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has completed recommendations on the candidates for 99 provincial and 47 National Assembly constituencies from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Fata. This was stated in a press release issued after meeting of the provincial executive committee of the party here on Wednesday.
Those who attended were included Maulana Atta-ul-Haq Darwaish, Maulana Shuja-ul-Mulk, Mufti Kifayatullah, Maulana Rafiullah Qasmi, Maulana Ainuddin Shakir, Haji Ishaq Zahid, Abdul Jalil Jan and Maulana Aziz Ahmad. The meeting discussed prevailing national political situation, preparations for upcoming general elections, general council meeting, arrangements for Galaba Islam Conference and provincewide visits of the provincial executive council.
The meeting decided that instead of March 25, Galaba-e-Islam (Supremacy of Islam) Conference would be held in Peshawar on April 01, 2018 (Sunday) while a meeting of the provincial council had also convened on January 14, 2018. According to the decision taken in the meeting, a four-member team comprising members of the provincial executive council will visit central, southern districts, Malakand and Hazara divisions from January 20 to 27, 2018.
The meeting also finalized strategy relating to fielding candidates for general elections 2018 and the review committee prepared a phase wise report for 99 provincial and 47 National Assembly constituencies and presented it to central and provincial leadership of the party.
