Snowy weather forecast

The winter cold continues to grip the most parts, as the Met Office on Wednesday forecast a frosting and snowy weather for the country in the next 24 hours. Minimum temperature was minus 6 degrees Celsius in Gupis, minus 5 in Astore and minus 3, each, in Skardu and Gilgit over the past 24 hours. "Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country," the Met said.
Dense fog is likely to prevail over the plains of Punjab and Upper Sindh during night and morning hours.
