Three Indian soldiers were killed in held Kashmir along the unofficial border with Pakistan on Saturday, Indian police said, in the latest skirmish. The soldiers were killed in the Rajouri sector of Indian-held Kashmir after Pakistani troops allegedly started firing across the border, said Shesh Paul Vaid, the director general of police in Indian held Kashmir.
"Initial reports say three soldiers were killed during (a) BAT operation," Vaid told AFP. There was no immediate response from Pakistani authorities to the incident.
