The third Governor Fata Youth Festival will be commenced at Jamrud Sports Complex Khyber Agency from December 25. The announcement was made by Director Sports Fata, Mohammad Nawaz while speaking at a news conference at press club here on Friday. Accompanied by Director Inforamtion Fata, Abdul Salam, and others, he said the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will inaugurate the festival, which aims at to build a soft image of Fata and KP in rest of the world.
He said that more than 3,000 players will participate in 22 games from all Frontier Regions and agencies of Fata. He said the games include football, judo, cricket, baseball will be held in Jamrud Sports Complex, while table tennis, hockey, tug of war, basketball, volleyball, athletic, weightlifting, boxing, netball, archery, bodybuilding will be played at Sports Complex.
