Punjab University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Liverpool, England with an intention to promote academic linkages, research collaboration and student exchange in the field of biological sciences.
The MoU was signed by Prof Dr Susan Dawson Dean, Institute of Veterinary Sciences, on behalf of the University of Liverpool and PU Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan at Leahust Campus, Liverpool, England. Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan was leading a 10-member PU academic delegation to various universities and research organizations in England, from November 7-16, 2017 under a joint PU-British Council "Transnational Education Link Programme" supervised by Dr Zulfiqar Ali, Associate Professor, Department of Zoology. During the week long study tour, the PU students visited the Natural History Museum, London; Colchester Zoo, London; Chester Zoo, Liverpool and attended the "Annual Aerosol Science Conference" in the University of Birmingham, in which the students presented research papers.
