Khawaja refuses to quit

AD Khawaja has reportedly refused to quit as Inspector General of Police after the Sindh government issued notification ordering him to surrender his services on Friday. A private news channel quoted sources as saying that IG Sindh Police AD Khawaja refused to leave the office without issuance of a notification by the federal government because he was appointed through federal government''s notification.
He argued that the provincial government issued notification without waiting for its approval by the federal government. The Sindh government on Saturday announced the appointment of Sardar Abdul Majeed Dasti as the acting IGP Sindh. Now, Sindh has two IGP and both are stick to their positions. Their subordinates have come under immense distress to who they should obey?
