Chairman of Pak-Vietnam Business Council Ghazanfar Ali Khan, who is also Senior Vice President of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI), has said that Pakistani Automotive Industry will participate in international expo going to be held in capital of Vietnam, Hanoi from April 19 to 22, 2017. He said besides auto sector, food, rice, furniture and banking sector from Pakistan would participate.
Ghazanfar also said that meetings with Hino, Toyota, Nissan, Suzuki and automotive dealers were scheduled, adding those meetings would help to increase Pakistan's exports. He said in the visit to Vietnam, Federation of Chambers of Commerce would sign different MoUs.
He said exports of automotive parts manufactured by Pakistani Automotive sector to Suzuki in Vietnam was a great success. He also welcomed the appointment of Nguyen Hong Tien as Commercial Consular of Vietnam. He said that newly appointed Commercial Consular had previously performed his duty in the same office. He said his reappointment was being welcomed, adding it was hoped that he would play his role for making strong economic and social relations between both countries. Ghazanfar Ali also urged that visa issuance should be made more smooth for traders and industrialists and visa fee should be reduced.
