Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC) will host a meeting of the International Contact Group on Afghanistan in Jeddah on Tuesday (today). Delegations from over 50 countries are likely to attend the meeting. The Group, formed in 2009 under auspices of Germany, has emerged as a prominent platform for co-ordination of the international efforts and initiatives towards contributing peace and stability in Afghanistan.
