PMEX daily trading report

On Thursday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,122. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 8.26 billion and the number of lots traded was 17,412.
Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 3.20 billion, followed by gold PKR 3.15 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.44 billion, silver PKR 376.51 million, copper PKR 78.06 million and Brent crude oil PKR 3.71 million. In addition to this, in agricultural commodities, 112,956 lots of red chilli amounting to PKR 20.10 million and 19 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 7.42 million were also traded.
