International player Fahad Khawjah and Nimra Khan clinched the titles of the KP NBP Table Tennis Boys and Gils Championships played here at Lala Rafique Sports Arena on Monday. In the Boys final Fahad Khawjah defeated his strong rival international player from Kohat Obaid Shah in a thrilling three sets battle, the score was 11-9, 13-11 and 11-8. In the Girls final Nimra Khan upset top seed Kainat in the final. The score was 11-8, 11-13, 13-11 and 11-9.
In the Junior category Fazal beat Ihsan of Kohat by 3-0, the score was 11-9, 11-8 and 11-6 while in the Junior Girls category Habiba beat Zainab by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-9 and 11-7. In the only match played of the special players played between Iltaf and Abdullah. Iltaf won third consecutive match the score was 11-8, 11-6 and 11-5. At the end, the chief guest former Sports Minister Syed Aqil Shah, who was the chief guest on this occasion, gave away trophies and certificates to the players.
