Lahore General Hospital Administration has decided to keep Urology Outdoor Department open during all the 7 days of week instead of only 2 days. Professor of Urology Dr Muhammad Nazir disclosed in this regard that it was being observed that patients coming from far flung areas were facing hardships as Outdoor of Urology Department was available to them for check up only for Tuesday and Thursday.
Therefore Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and LGH Professor Ghiyas-un-Nabi Tayyab directed MS LGH Dr Ghulam Sabir to keep the OPD of Urology functional throughout the week. Now the urology specialists and consultants would be available to patients for check up on daily basis.
Professor Tayyab told in this connection that new policy would not only end problems of those patients who had to wait for long but even more number of visitors would be benefited.
