Government Girls Degree College Mathra Peshawar stunned Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University team by eight wickets in the ongoing Girls Inter-College Cricket Championship being played under the aegis of the Directorate of Sports Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University here at its premises on Saturday.
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University skipper Fakiya Khan won the toss and elected to bat first by setting up a meager runs total of 24 runs all out after playing 9.7 overs. No batter crossed the double figures with Shuhrat, Eshrat and Toba took three wickets each. In reply, Government Girls Degree College Matra chased the target for the loss of two wickets. In the second match, Government Girls Degree College Jamrud eliminated Government Girls Degree College Shabqadar, District Charsadda by 11 runs.
