PSQCA restrained from sealing factories

Federal Minister for Science & Technology Rana Tanvir Hussain while responding to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (LCCI) demand has restrained the Pakistan Standards & Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) from sealing any industrial unit before serving three fortnightly notices.
The minister took a prompt action as his ministry issued a notification bearing the minister's signatures to restrain the Authority. The notification directed the PSQCA to serve three fortnightly notices to the relevant industry before sealing the industrial unit. In case of non-compliance, stern action like sealing the unit and other appropriate measures would be taken.
