DC issues warning to candidates in NA-106 over violation of code of conduct
FAISALABAD: Deputy Commissioner/District Monitoring Officer for General Election 2018 Syed Ahmed Fawad Tuesday issued warning to the candidates from NA-106, former provincial law minister Rana Sanaullah Khan and Dr Nisar Ahmad Jatt over violation of the code of conduct, issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
The DC summoned Rana Sanaullah Khan and Dr Nisar Jatt in his office and informed them about the reports against them regarding violation of the code of conduct by them.
He explained that carrying and displaying of weapons of all kinds was prohibited and the candidates and their supporters should refrain from violating the law.
He told the candidates that violators of the code of conduct could be punished with a fine up to Rs 50,000 and their disqualification from contesting polls.
